One of my co-worker referred me as a man of integrity in his peer review letter. Well it is so great complement that I feel I am not fully qualified yet. But I decided to keep integrity as my principal virtue working with other people, especially when I am doing my professional works.
According to the English dictionary, Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
The related characteristics/key words include true, fair, honest, lawful, wise, honorable, strong, etc. It is also related to faith, ethics, justice, uprightness, morals, accountability, values, rectitude, self-control, etc.
I think the integrity is a God-like character and He wants His children to live with integrity. I know it is not easy. The bible teaches us that we can have integrity when we walk in the path of Jesus Christ and keep our mind focused on honoring God.
