If we assume a life span of a hundred years, I am now entering the second half. Up until now, I have been diligently living through the tasks given to me, but now I am reflecting on my life and contemplating how to spend the remaining years.
In this context, I came across Os Guinness's book "Long Journey Home."
Os Guinness states that a fulfilling life requires three elements: a clear sense of identity, a strong sense of mission and purpose, and a deep understanding of the meaning of life.
As I reflect on discovering the meaning of my life and the path I will take going forward, I aim to organize my thoughts and positions on these three elements. This contemplation and resolution pertain to my journey in life, especially as a Christian, a physician caring for patients, and a leader at the medical institution I am part of.
